Women's Health

From embracing your first child to providing comprehensive breast care, Hutcheson Medical Center is dedicated to providing quality, cost effective healthcare for women in the Northwest Georgia region.

Battlefield Auxiliary Breast Center

In Spring 2006, Hutcheson opened the Battlefield Auxiliary Breast Center. Located at Hutcheson on the Parkway, the Battlefield Auxiliary Breast Center is the area's first and only comprehensive center of its kind to offer a unique physician team-based approach to breast care, all under one roof. Our team of experts provide quality programs and personalized services especially for women in a comfortable, safe and relaxed atmosphere. The Battlefield Auxiliary Breast Center is designed by women like you - those who know the importance of early detection and those who have survived breast cancer.

The Women's Center at Hutcheson

Located on Hutcheson's main campus, the Women's Center at Hutcheson is known as the "place where babies come from." Since its opening in 1988, this facility has provided the area with one of the most comprehensive women's centers in the area. On-site surgical suites and birthing suites allow for a comforting delivery atmosphere. This facility is staffed with the areas finest physicians, midwives, anesthesiologists and nurses to administer quality patient care. The Newborn Intensive Care Nursery is equipped with technology to administer the appropriate care to babies with special needs, and our pediatric wing is staffed by fully trained pediatric nurses and includes an observation unit designed for children who require continuous monitoring. Through the single-room labor-delivery-recovery rooms and advanced security systems, The Women's Center is able to offer its patients a unique and secure home away from home atmosphere.

The Women's Center also offers educational classes for new parents on topics such as Lamaze, baby care, infant CPR, and breastfeeding. To find out more information about theses classes or to register call (706) 858-CALL (2255).
