Many of our therapists hold advanced degrees and they strive to provide excellent care through continued commitment to their patients. Outpatient Rehab ServicesOur Goal is to work closely with physicians to enhance the quality of health care through ensuring evidenced based practice for their patients. Each clinic concentrates on improving patient function through active participation, rather than through passive modality application. Our hands-on and friendly staff provides the personal attention to enhance each patient’s recovery. Hutcheson is committed to providing you with high-quality rehabilitation close to home. Wound CareOur physical therapists also offer evaluation and treatment of various wounds including Diabetic Ulcers, Venous Stasis, Burns, Cellulitis, Post Surgical and other wounds at all 3 of our outpatient clinics. Treatment could include whirlpool, debridement, compression bandaging/stockings and/or progressive wound dressings. Occupational Therapy

We offer Modified Barium Swallow Studies and our clinicians are Vital Stim Certified. Cardiac RehabCardiac Rehab offers recovery to an active lifestyle for those who have heart disease or have experienced a heart procedure. One of the best steps you can take to improve your recovery and aid in prevention of heart problems is to participate in a Phase II telemetry program. Our goal is to provide heart healthy education and physical rehabilitation so that the patient can resume normal work and life activities. Our cardiac rehab staff is trained to help people with heart disease reach and maintain the highest possible levels of physical and mental performance. Your team will include:

Phase III Cardiac Rehab is also offered at our facilities for those individuals who wish to maintain their level of recovery. Cancer Well-fitThe Cancer Well-fit program is structured and supportive of the patient’s recovery process. Although in a class format, the exercise protocols are individualized for each participant. Lymphedema Therapy is available for this patient population who suffers from an unusual accumulation of lymph fluid in the tissues of the skin that causes swelling of a body part. The only effective treatment for lymphedema is Complete Decongestive Therapy. Our physical therapists use thorough evaluations, targeted exercises, and state of the art equipment to discover the exact origin of your complaints and safely address the actual cause of your problems. Our staff helps patients achieve their highest level of function in a safe and timely manner. We offer treatment of musculoskeletal and neurological dysfunction, including pre- and post-surgical orthopedics, congenital disorders and sports injuries.
Occupational Therapists have particular training in helping people modify their activities and surroundings to achieve the most active and independent lifestyle possible. At Hutcheson, occupational therapists provide therapy to those with injuries and medical conditions relating to the hand and upper extremity. We develop an individualized therapy program for each patient, and together we work to gain the maximum functional recovery for our patients. Their goal is to help these individuals achieve their highest level of independence with daily tasks.
