The Connection

Workplace injuries are a common problem that costs business and industry millions of dollars annually. The professionals of Hutcheson's Occupational & Community Wellness Program listen to your needs and can customize many services to fit your company's requirements. Their on-site health screenings and physicals promote a healthy workforce.

The first goal of Hutcheson's Occupational & Community Wellness program is to prevent workplace injuries from happening. Through worksite analysis, job analysis, and employee preventive programs we can help you reduce the number of on-the-job accidents and work-related injuries. This will result in reduced medical costs for your company.

Our second goal is to get your employees who suffer work-related injuries back on the job as soon as possible. Our programs not only help your employees get back to work, but with efficient injury management, we teach employees how to avoid injuries in the future.

Mobile Wellness Van

In 1996, Hutcheson Medical Center proudly unveiled the Mobile Wellness Van as part of the Occupational and Community Wellness Program. This versatile mobile unit is also equipped with the expertise and resources of various departments at Hutcheson.

Each year about 12,000 North Georgia residents receive a variety of services though the Mobile Wellness van: general health screenings, educational programs and community/industrial healthcare support. These services can be made available at your workplace, where you shop or where your children go to school. The van is also available to the Catoosa, Dade, and Walker County Health Departments for various community and school programs.
