Hutcheson Medical Center Auxiliary

Hutcheson's Auxiliary is a group of dedicated volunteers who serve Hutcheson Medical Center through volunteer services and fundraising efforts. Hutcheson's Auxiliary is one of the largest and most active in the region. Some of the volunteer services they provide include patient transports, servicing the information desk at the main lobby Information Desk, ICU Family Waiting Room, delivering flowers and mail to patients and courtesy shuttle transports. There are additional volunteer opportunities at Hutcheson on the Parkway campus, including the Fuller Cancer Center and Battlefield Auxiliary Breast Center.

All of our volunteers complete annual JCAHO education classes, have performance evaluations, and are required to complete orientations and confidentiality agreements during the application for membership process.

The Hutch Gift Shop is a premier gift shop that is owned and operated by the volunteer Auxiliary at Hutcheson as an on-going fundraising project. The Hutch boasts a large variety of gifts including baby items, home décor, seasonal items, stationery, jewelry, candy and much more to provide customers convenient and affordable shopping for birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, get-well gifts, new baby gifts and other occasions. How Do I Become a Volunteer?

The process is easy. To become one of over 120 Hutcheson Auxiliary Members, you will need to complete an application for membership. You will be subject to all employee requirements some of which includes physician's signatures, confidentiality agreements, background checks, and proof of immunization.
